Mattie's father was killed by a wizard he owed money to and shortly after her mother
committed suicide. Her first seven years of life were spent in foster care, and now she
currently lives with an aunt who pays little to no attention to her. So basically she raised
herself. She's rather easy going and doesn't judge people...well, not aloud. Being a
metamorphmagi, she often sports a different hair style every day.

Mattie is sure to have plenty of these since she's considered to be a rather easy person to get along with. Um, damn, I always suck at these sections, lmao, but basically she could be friends with almost anyone. Though she'll probably only have one or two people she hangs out with on a steady basis. Just because she is a tad on the lazy side and won't be the one to take initiative and ask someone to hang out. They have to ask her, and I'm assuming not many people would put up with that. x]

Odds are if you dislike her maine coon cat, Rocky, she'll hate you as that cat is her life support. Otherwise, she stays out of people's ways so long as they don't interfere with her, so she doesn't really piss people off that much. She does tend to be lazy, a tad crazy, and people find her constant changes of metamorphmagi kinda weird sometimes. So maybe your character teases/bullies her for these traits and she secretly plots their demise?

Mattie has issues with lovers. She's had boyfriends in the past but when things get serious she tends to cut the relationship short. You can blame mommy dearest for that. Mattie doesn't think love isn't real, or that it's destructive even though her mother killed herself when she found out her father was dead. She just doesn't view herself worthy of love since she wasn't good enough of a reason for her mother to live for. So, your character could sort of be a temporary boyfriend. Or, if they're willing to be a jack ass and tell her that no, they aren't going to break up with her because they didn't push her out of the way in time to miss getting pooped on by an owl, then it could last longer than her normal ones. Seeing as how what she really needs is just someone to slap her for being so self diminishing. Literally or figuratively, doesn't matter. ;]
