She had never felt this type of anxiety before. The tunnels were dark, because it was well after midnight. She was not out to commit any act of mischief. She just needed to get to the hospital, just for her to get some meds for her headache, which had been bothering her all night, so she had been tossing and turning, nothing seemed to put her to sleep. She shivered from the cold, and wrapped her blanket tightly around herself. Darkness was not her friend. In fact, she loathed the darkness… along with ghosts, spiders, and snakes, oh god did she have a death fear of snakes. They were grotesque legless creatures that could kill you in one bite – it was just repulsive. The darkness was actually a scary place for her, she only went there when she was around Annabelle – simply to look unafraid – but now, not she needed to get through the darkness to the other side… and she forgot her wand. She trembled as she took her first few steps into the tunnels. The torches were no longer lit, considering the time of day. So it was absolutely pitch black.

Rosalia pulled her blanket tighter around herself, as though it would become some shield to defend her. But the only thing it could help was keep out some of the cold, since her simple satin night gown didn’t do very much. She took a step across the cold stone floor, and shivers went up her spine. Her feet were bare; she had no slippers for night time. Her hair was a mess, pulled into a confused ponytail like bun. She was wearing simple black glasses, since she did have contacts, disregarding the fact that she was magical. She kept walking forward, still strangely uncomfortable, and though the tunnels were silent – that’s what scared her. There was no noise. Nothing at all other than her feet patting the stone; she hastened her pace, then began to run through the tunnels, she was psyching herself up, and now she was scared ten times worse.

The saddest part about the entire thing, Rosalia actually ran into a wall. She fell over abruptly and whimpered. Now her butt hurt almost as much as her head, though her forehead probably had a big red mark on it now. Normally she didn’t let her thoughts get to her, but it was impossible to deny – the tunnels were fucking creepy at night. And now, she went into hopeless mode. She curled up in the fetal position and whimpered. She immediately assumed she wouldn’t get out of her… problem and she would be stuck there until the torches lit the next morning. That meant she had to toughen it up, and try to sleep on the uncomfortable solid floor in the eerily quiet tunnels. This was just dandy wasn’t it? She didn’t bother getting back up, she’d prefer to lay on the floor and wither… actually she was being so dramatic in her little mind, she told herself she’d be frozen solid and dead by the time someone found her in the morning.

Stupid school. Stupid tunnels. Stupid headache.
